Michigan Patriot Guard Leadership & Organization
The State of Michigan has been divided into regions. Please use the Regional Contacts tab to locate that information. Each region has a Regional Leader to answer any questions and manage any activities in their Region, as well as several Area Leaders to assist the Regional Leader.
Michigan Patriot Guard is a strong and solid group of committed Patriots. Our members are our greatest asset. The breakdown of responsibilities is as follows:
- General Members: Are the eyes and ears of their communities; the ones who stand the line and help raise awareness and funding for our Heroes in need. We need all members to take the first step and alert us to a need or request for support.
- Area Leaders: These Patriots will assist the Regional Leader with the Events, Fundraisers or other activities and ensure that undertakings are conducted with the highest degree of respect and professionalism and follow all guidelines set forth to the best of their abilities.
- Regional Leaders: Coordinate all Events, Fundraisers, or any other requests. They coordinate with the community leaders, local officials, event personnel, LEO, Funeral Home Directors and Clergy. Regional Leaders choose their own Area Leaders; they look for people with the same devotion to duty as they have. Regional Leaders may choose to coordinate the event or fundraiser and then turn over the lead to an Area Leader but are there to assist if at all possible.
- Governing Body: The Michigan Patriot Guard is a 501 (C) 3 non profit corporation and has a Board of Directors to oversee the activities of the State. They are there to assist in any way necessary and to help set policy. We all stand together for the same reason; to ensure we never fail in our Mission.
The Michigan Patriot Guard will coordinate fundraisers to ensure our Michigan’s wounded their families or Veterans in Need can get the help they require when other help is not available in a timely manor.
